   These kits are one of the easiest ways to Personalize your F-150. There are to many on the market to explain the differences. I'll give you some information about the kit and the way we use them.  Chromium is electro plated to metal strips, door handles, head and tail light assemblies and bumpers. These strips and kits were first used to cover seams and generally chrome a vehicle.

Back when chromium was king the1956 Buick Road Master had enough iron and chromium on them you could build two Toyotas and trick them out with just the front bumper and still build a few kits from it. We use stainless steel today because we can shape, form it, and polish it to almost to the same brilliance as chrome and we don't have to electro plate it, was cheaper.
